DOMANI TANTISSIMI AMICI e un sacco di persone che non conosco -ma che conoscerò- saranno allo ZenaCamp a Genova! Io ci andrò con una persona molto speciale per la quale ho provveduto a organizzare divertimenti vari (e non ho ancora finito)!

Intanto l’altro giorno con alcuni organizzatori dell’evento abbiamo fatto un podcast, ma mi devo scusare è venuto uno schifo tra i miei goffi tentativi di configurare il nuovo Skype con Audio Hjiack Pro. Prometto che ritenterò in loco.

In compenso con Marco Formento -uno di loro- abbiamo inviato una mail di presentazione dell’evento all’estero a un po’ di corrispondenti amici su testate più o meno influenti. Devo ringraziare Amanda Lorenzani che -anche se non ci sarà domani- ha perfezionato il mio inglese da rimorchio rendendolo cool al punto giusto (anche in Silicon Valley sembra te ne siano grati)

Intanto mi godo le belle cose che “La7 TG” ha appena detto dei passati BarCamp e l’ottimo intervento finale di Mafe (grazie a JTheo per la soffiata).

ZenaCamp in Genova italian bloggers so few so chatty

Italian Bloggers! So few so chatty!!!

David Sifry in his last “State of the Blogosphere” (04/07) announced that italian is the 4th most spoken language in the blogosphere (after english, chinese and japanese). BUT in Italy there are no more that a million active bloggers (following the trend of the most active tribes http://www.sifry.com/alerts/archives/000493.html)

Saturday is an important day in Italy as many of those active tribes of bloggers will be meeting in Genova for ZENACAMP (http://barcamp.org/ZenaCam), one of the biggest BarCamps ever scheduled in the country (over 200 attendees registered so far).

The event is a unique opportunity for companies and press to meet people that are talking about new technologies on their blogs and are discussing (day by day) products and service satisfaction levels. From Telecom to Microsoft, to Cisco and Vodafone (but also a host of SMEs) companies are focusing their attention on what’s going on during these events and feel that the time to listen to the voice of the italian blogosphere has come.
